Georgia Gantt is a North Carolina native who has claimed Asheville as home for the majority of her life. She has watched Western North Carolina grow and change over the years, and has built a solid network of business and social connections.

Georgia understands the challenges in finding the right neighborhood, the best house and all of the planning associated with moving. Whether you seek a downtown condo in the heart of the city, a quaint cabin near the best hiking and mountain biking trails, a brand new home or a fixer upper, Georgia knows where to look and how to find the perfect place for you. Her knowledge about the region and longevity in the Asheville area makes her a valuable resource for newcomers.

Most importantly, Georgia Gantt loves her job! Before entering real estate, she made use of her B.S. in Accounting and M.A. in Education as a high school educator and then owner of her own financial planning business. Real estate is a perfect match for Georgia as she enjoys meeting new people and connecting them to the Asheville community. After working for several years at a large real estate company in Asheville, Georgia opened her own company, Sunrise Properties. She chose the name because she sees every home purchase, or sale, as a bright new beginning - or the dawning of a new day - for her clients. A member of the Western North Carolina Green Building Council, Georgia is an ECO certified agent and stays up to date on local trends in newly built and renovated green homes.  Another way Georgia sets herself apart is that she strongly believes in "buyer representation".  She holds the Accredited Buyer's Representative designation and is a member of the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council.

Georgia has high expectations of herself. She listens carefully to your desires and goals, looks out for your best interests, negotiates your best price, keeps you informed and ensures that the process to closing goes as smoothly as possible. Georgia enjoys golf, gardening, nature, reading and socializing with friends.  In 2009, she rescued Jacob from Sarge's Animal Rescue and in December of 2009 she rescued Sunny from the Asheville Humane Society.  She also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and the Asheville Humane Society, and is an ambassador for the annual WNCAP Dining Out For Life event. As an animal lover, for every client who buys or sells a property, Georgia will spend a day at the Asheville Humane Society making the lives of the animals a little bit better.
